It has been indicated that WWE could be interested in GCW’s Bloodsport brand of events.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that GCW’s Brett Lauderdale revealed on his podcast that the ‘biggest wrestling company in the world’ has expressed interest in the Bloodsport brand.
Lauderdale had also said that he was invited to WrestleMania 38 by Stephanie McMahon. Lauderdale had taken to Twitter during WrestleMania 38 Sunday with a photo of himself and McMahon, which you can see below:

GCW have been producing Bloodsport matches since 2018, most recently hosting Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 8 during WrestleMania 38 week. Bloodsport matches take place in rope-less rings, and can only be won via knockout or submission.
WWE’s interest in Bloodsport is interesting, especially after the company criticised AEW for ‘gory self-mutilation’ earlier this year, in reference to the women’s tag team Street Fight on the New Year’s Eve edition of Rampage.
There is every chance that the ‘biggest wrestling company in the world’ in question could be AEW, since WWE brands its product as ‘sports entertainment’, but… come on.
