The UK government was recently asked about the impact of the upcoming WWE stadium show.
WWE will air a major event from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on September 3.
Pontypridd & Taff Ely MP Alex Davies-Jones brought this up in the House of Commons, asking the Leader of the Commons Mark Spencer if he’ll commit to a debate about the benefit of bringing big cultural sporting events to the UK.
Spencer called WWE a ‘great sport’, and stated that he’ll join Davies-Jones in celebrating this investment.
The show received a historic level of pre-sale interest, with over 59,000 fans pre-registered for tickets within the first 24 hours of the show’s announcement.
