NXT UK star Charlie Dempsey has now been confirmed for the upcoming PROGRESS Super Strong Style 16 tournament.
Dempsey, the former Bailey Matthews, has established himself as a dominant star on WWE’s NXT UK brand. Dempsey is notably the son of William Regal, who’s currently with AEW.
Commenting on his inclusion in the tournament, Dempsey noted that one name who he’d love to face in the tournament is Chris Ridgeway.

PROGRESS will reveal the full line-up for the tournament later today. AEW’s Swerve Strickland has been pulled from the card, but is slated to wrestle at PROGRESS Chapter 136 on July 24.
