Yes, you read that right, Brandi Rhodes has made her in-ring return, and she did it in a WWE ring this past Friday (August 12).
As reported by PWInsider, Rhodes wrestled a match at an “in-house live event” at the WWE Performance Center.
WWE regularly holds these kinds of shows for NXT talent to give them more chance to perform and improve beyond only wrestling on TV once a week and the occasional weekend house shows in Florida.
The report did not mention who Rhodes wrestled on Friday, but did note that she is not currently listed as a member of the NXT roster.
Prior to this, Rhodes’ last official match was at the January 26 AEW Dark ‘Elevation’ taping against KiLynn King.
If you’re in the UK but didn’t manage to get tickets to Clash at the Castle on September 3, WrestleTalk is hosting a watch party at The Joiner on Worship in Shoreditch, London, and we’d love for you to join us! Click here for more details.
