A recently won championship in WWE is going to be defended on tonight’s (September 16) edition of WWE SmackDown.
On tonight’s WWE SmackDown, a recently debuted star is bringing some gold to the main roster, but will his title reign be short lived?
According to Fightful Select, NXT’s North American Championship will be defended tonight on WWE SmackDown.
Although, it won’t be defended how you might expect as it will not be another NXT star or recent call up meeting in the ring for the title shot.
The NXT North American Championship was just captured by Solo Sikoa after he bested Carmelo Hayes to win his first Championship in WWE.
Tonight on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa will be putting the NXT North American Championship on the line against Madcap Moss.
Elsewhere listed as expected for tonight’s show, a promo by Logan Paul to kick off the episode as well as a sit down interview with Ronda Rousey.
Also in action, a big tag-team bout to establish the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships as it will be the Brawling Brutes vs. Hit Row vs. Imperium vs. New Day.
