YouTuber-turned-wrestler Logan Paul has opened up about the one thing in WWE that he struggles with the most.
Paul shocked WWE fans with his surprisingly adept in-ring performance at WrestleMania 38 in a tag team match with the Miz against Dominik and Rey Mysterio, and again at WWE SummerSlam 2022 in singles competition against the Miz.
But it seems that Paul’s main source of difficulty may not be the ring at all.
In an recent interview with Ryan Satin, Paul explained what he struggles with the most in wrestling, saying that the physicality comes easy to him, but it’s the promo and smack talking side of the role that he struggles with.
He said:
“The physicality comes easy. Truly, what I need to work on is my mic skills. I’m not comfortable on the mic. I’ll be on the mic at a show, Madison Square Garden, 18,000 people watching, all heckling me live and talking their smack while I’m trying to deliver a story. It’s very difficult.
“Doing WWE promos is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do and I have so much respect for the Superstars who get in there every Monday and Friday and rattle off this stuff to perfection. I’m just not there yet. The physicality, let’s go.”
Paul is set to face Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel on November 5 for a shot at the Tribal Chief’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
