Further details have emerged related to the Ring of Honor agreements under AEW ownership with details of who is working within it.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has confirmed that some of the wrestlers who appeared at ROH Death Before Dishonor on July 23 were not signed to a tiered or full-time deal.
The report goes into further details, specifying that:
“There were talent from ROH that were originally brought in on tiered deals, such as Josh Woods, who later signed full-time contracts. There were numerous talent that were signed to AEW agreements with the intent of using them as ROH talent. The Kingdom and Bandido were also offered or signed to full-time deals.”
Whilst AEW did sign some wrestlers, some standout Ring of Honor names are still not on full-time deals, with Fightful highlighting two names in particular:
“Dalton Castle has confirmed in recent weeks that he hasn’t been signed to a full-time deal. We also confirmed that CB, the former Cheeseburger, also wasn’t signed, and was working as a free agent.”
With Tony Khan still intent on bringing Ring of Honor to a television audience, there’s still plenty of time for AEW to firm up the ROH arrangements.
