AEW star Danhausen has opened up about the possibility of leaving his current company and making the jump to rival WWE.
Danhausen joined AEW during the company’s Beach Break special episode of AEW Dynamite in January 2022, and has stayed with the company ever since.
Speaking to author Dan Brooks during a special profile of the wrestler for the New York Times, Danhausen said he has “no interest” in moving over to the larger company.
Regarding Danhausen’s unique appeal and popularity, AEW head booker Tony Khan added:
“I like to take people’s presentation once it’s gotten over, once it’s gotten popular and been accepted.
“If you find people that have gotten over with a smaller, hard-core audience, often if you give them a chance on national television, the hard-core audience will vouch for them.”
Danhausen’s most recent wrestling match was at AEW Full Gear Zero Hour, where he teamed up with Orange Cassidy, the Best Friends, & Rocky Romero to defeat The Factory.
