An upset victory took place on tonight’s (January 18) episode of AEW Dynamite.
Top Flight have been having close encounters with the Blackpool Combat Club in recent weeks, truly testing the young stars amongst some of AEW’s best.
Dante and Darius Martin were again tested against some of AEW’s top stars on tonight’s show, when they faced off with the Young Bucks in tag team action.
This was the Young Bucks’ first two on two tag team match since they lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship to Swerve In Our Glory last July.
The rust of being in a standard tag team match clearly effected the Trios Champions, as Top Flight managed to score the upset victory over the Bucks.
This comes just one week after the Elite made a comeback to win the Best of Seven series against Death Triangle to capture the AEW Trios Championship.
The Young Bucks wore black armbands in tribute to Jay Briscoe, with a ‘ROH Special’ in tribute to Briscoe set to be taped after tonight’s show.
.@TopFlight612 just scored one of the biggest wins of their career!
