Cody Rhodes has laid out a challenge to a WWE SmackDown star following a post on social media about WrestleMania 39.
LA Knight had previously demanded his WrestleMania moment on April 1 & 2 in a tweet that was retweeted by the official WWE Twitter account.
Whilst Rhodes may not be offering Knight a WrestleMania match, he has come up with a compromise for the SmackDown star.
With WWE Raw taking place in Providence, Rhode Island on March 13, Rhodes tweeted:
“Well I don’t want to be outta’ practice by #WrestleMania
“If you’re in Providence, stand opposed…what are we waiting for? #WWERaw”
Whether Knight will hope from the blue brand to the red brand to accept this gracious opportunity is yet to be seen.
A glance through the retweets and comments, however, suggests that many WWE fans would like to see the match happen.
