A big update has emerged on the contract status of former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.
It was previously reported that Grace’s contract with IMPACT Wrestling was set to expire this month.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Grace has now finished up with IMPACT Wrestling, and is a free agent.
Grace told Fightful that her plan is to work on some projects away from the ring while taking some time off from wrestling.
The report noted that higher-ups from multiple companies have shown interest in Grace, with several independent promoters also curious about whether or not she’ll return to the independent scene.
Grace shared an ambiguous answer when discussing her wrestling future, telling Fightful:
“I’ll be back somewhere at some point.”
Grace first joined IMPACT in 2018, and has since held the Knockouts World Title twice, as well as the Digital Media and Knockouts Tag Team Title on one occasion each.
She last wrestled for IMPACT at the May 26 Under Siege event, losing to Deonna Purrazzo in a Last Chance Knockouts Title bout.
Some have speculated that Grace will soon sign with AEW. The former IMPACT star has discussed her recent interaction with CM Punk, which you can read more about right here.
