WWE has been advertising Rey and Dominik Mysterio in the first-ever Father’s Day Street Fight for an upcoming event.
WWE are selling more tickets than ever for most of their live events whether it be a PLE, television or a house show.
In honor of the upcoming Father’s Day holiday, the company are promoting a first-time unique stipulation that will pit father vs. son during a live event next Sunday, June 18.
On the Charleston Coliseum’s official website, Rey Mysterio will face his son Dominik Mysterio in the first-ever Father’s Day Street Fight in Charleston, West Virginia,
This match will part of a double main event that will also feature Seth Rollins against The Miz for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Despite a lot of fan investment in the rivalry between father and son, Rey and Dominik Mysterio were separated in the recent WWE Draft when Rey Mysterio and the rest of the LWO were selected to SmackDown, while Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day were selected to Raw.
Elsewhere on the card, WWE is advertising three other title matches for the show, including Rhea Ripley defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Natalya.
Also, GUNTHER defending the Intercontinental Championship against Matt Riddle and Shinsuke Nakamura in a triple threat match and The Viking Raiders challenging Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
