Interesting details have emerged on SmackDown viewership for a major WWE segment featuring the Bloodline.
On the June 16 edition of SmackDown, Jey Uso finally turned on Roman Reigns, dropping the Tribal Chief and his brother Solo Sikoa with superkicks and siding with Jimmy Uso.
This segment got the wrestling world talking, with many fans interested to see more of the Bloodline storyline play out.
Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, while viewership was high, the household rating indicated that more families watched this episode together than usual:
“The actual household rating was not that special, but the viewership was really high.
“So this was one of those things where lots of families watched this one together, way more than a usual show.
“And of course peaked at the end with 2.765 million viewers, and nearly a million in 18-49, I think it was a 0.76 for the Jey Uso segment where he made the decision.”
