With AEW releasing their first console video game Fight Forever yesterday, wrestling video games are hot on the lips of fans right now.
Along with Fight Forever, WWE 2K23 has continued to release DLC packs, with the third pack ‘Race to NXT’ being released recently.
Next month’s pack, titled ‘Revel with Wyatt Pack’ is set to release on July 19, and features Zeus, Blair Davenport, Valhalla, Joe Gacy and (obviously) Bray Wyatt.
WWE Games have been showing off photos of Wyatt and Uncle Howdy on social media ahead of the packs release, making a revelation about Howdy’s status.
After uploading a photo of Howdy, WWE Games were asked if he would be a playable character, to which they said:
And yes, Uncle Howdy is in fact a bonus playable character for DLC 4! #WWE2K23
You can see a photo of Howdy’s character model below.
Wyatt and Howdy have not appeared on WWE television since March, with Wyatt taking time off due to an ‘illness’.
Wyatt’s planned match with Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39 was scrapped due to his absence, with Lashley instead winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
