A new report has revealed what Warner Bros. Discovery would consider ratings success for AEW Collision.
Last month, All Elite Wrestling premiered their second two-hour primetime show with AEW Collision on Saturday nights on TNT.
A show centered around the returning CM Punk and other returning stars was a fun prospect, but what it can mean to the future of the entire company makes it even more intriguing.
Despite a big number for the premiere, Collision has seen major drops in the total viewership and demo rating in weeks two and three. What these ratings will mean to Warner Bros. Discovery for the fledging new show was previously unknown.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update on what WBD will consider a success, noting that WBD were much more interested in the rankings than a particular number.
AEW Dynamite has generally drawn between 830-950K viewers and steadily ranked highly for Wednesday nights, while AEW Rampage’s numbers has been more all over the place due to viewing changes.
WBD sources expect Collision to rank on Saturdays the same as Dynamite on Wednesdays. The report notes that the company are well aware about the fall months will face stiff competition with college football.
A top 5 ranking for the night is what Warner Bros. Discovery considers a success for AEW Collision.
