A new report has provided an update on the discussed WWE WrestleMania 41 (2025) location.
There has been more talk involving the locations of the upcoming WrestleMania events over the next few years.
WWE has already confirmed that they will be hosting WrestleMania 40 at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. Meanwhile, eyes are being set on the following year’s Show of Shows.
The focus on the 2025 location has increased even more after John Cena proposed bringing Mania to London, England at the recent Money In The Bank event.
Fightful Select provided an update, noting that Minneapolis has been heavily discussed within the company as a possible and even likely location for WrestleMania 41 in 2025.
Minneapolis city planners leaked this news to local media, but WWE officials confirmed that Minneapolis was one of several cities that had interest in hosting the major show. There were even reps on behalf of the city who were at SoFi Stadium for WrestleMania 39.
U.S. Bank Stadium would be the location for the event due to temperature and baseball season could prevent the possibility of Target Field. The stadium has a dome and seats well over 73,000 for Minnesota Vikings football games.
The report notes that WWE views U.S. Bank Stadium as a world class venue and are getting more aggressive in getting non-Vikings related events in the huge stadium.
It remains to be seen when or if the company will confirm this news, but this is the second major report regarding Mania heading to Minneapolis in recent months.
As previously reported, WWE recently announced the on-sale date for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
WrestleTalk will keep readers updated on the location for WrestleMania 2025.
