WWE SummerSlam is set to take place tonight (August 5) in Ford Field, and there are a number of big matches set for the show.
The match currently planned to open the show is the bout between Logan Paul and Ricochet, with Logan looking to leave the show to make it to his brother Jake Paul’s fight against Nate Diaz in Dallas later tonight.
The build up to the match has been around the two making ‘viral moments’ during both the Royal Rumble and Money In The Bank matches, and they’re hoping to add another to that list tonight.
Per WrestleVotes, the two men put in a dual training session at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week, with them placing high expectations on themselves to create a ‘viral moment’ during the match.
WrestleVotes tweeted:
In preparation for tonight’s match, I’m told Logan Paul & Ricochet put in a dual training session together at the PC on 8/1. The two have placed high expectations on themselves for a “viral” moment tonight. #SummerSlam
