While it may seem that Roman Reigns is running out of milestones to pass in his 1083 days as champion, the Tribal Chief has just hit another landmark figure with his current reign.
Despite being 1083 days into his time as Universal Champion, Reigns’ current reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion also includes the WWE Championship.
On WWE’s website, the WWE Championship and Universal Championship are still listed as separate and currently active, despite Reigns only holding the one belt to signify his Undisputed WWE Universal Champion status.
So, while Reigns is approaching 1100 days as Universal Champ, he has now just reached the 500 day mark as WWE Champion in his time with WWE’s most historic prize.
Reigns won the WWE Title from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 on April 3, 2022 in a title vs title match, leading to the two belts becoming unified.
This current WWE Title run places it sixth all-time with that particular championship and seventh when including his own run as Universal Champion.
While it may be a bit confusing to some, most fans would agree it’s nice to see WWE continue to keep the lineage of their prestigious title alive officially.
