Former WWE star Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) was released from the company back in April 2020 after 15 years with the company.
Since leaving the company, Cardona has completely reinvented himself as the ‘indie god’, but it seems as though he may have had enough!
Cardona and Steph De Lander teamed up in a losing effort to Nick Gage and Maki Itoh at GCW Homecoming 2023 part one, and Cardona did not take the loss well.
Cardona accused the pair of ruining he and Steph’s ‘GameChangerMania’ moment, and that he could think of ‘203 reasons’ to not step foot in a GCW ring again.
203 is the area code for Stamford, Connecticut, the location of WWE headquarters.
In a follow up video, Cardona drove past WWE HQ, where he told both Vince McMahon and his wife Chelsea Green that he would be ‘coming home’.
He said:
“I’m coming home, Vince. No more or this indie bullshit. No more being disrespected in GCW. Vince, I’m coming home. Chelsea, I’m coming. Wait for me.”
Cardona’s wife Chelsea Green currently reigns as one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Piper Niven.
Piper was awarded the title on last week’s Raw show following the injury to Sonya Deville.
