Former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey’s second run with WWE came to an end back at SummerSlam.
Ronda was defeated by Shayna Baszler on the show, which was said to be the last match on her WWE contract.
Ahead of her departure, there were rumours that Rousey could be potentially planning a return to the UFC, though Ariel Helwani later confirmed that was not the case.
Do put a definitive nail in the coffin, Dana White spoke to Sports Illustrated, where he said that there is ‘no shot’ Ronda returns to the UFC.
He said:
“There’s no shot. She’s accomplished everything she set out to do. Her dream was to win a UFC championship, then win a WWE championship, and she’s done it.
“Now she’s starting a family. Ronda has made so much money, and she’s still making a lot of money in sponsorships.”
Rousey’s last UFC fight came in December 2016, when she was defeated by Amanda Nunez.
