At AEW All In London, Will Ospreay defeated Chris Jericho in a first time ever matchup. This marked his three straight huge win in the past two months with other victories over Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada.
On the August 23 edition of AEW Dynamite, Ospreay noted his NJPW contract is set to expire in six months.
Now, the current IWGP United Kingdom Champion is set to make his return to another promotion.
On the IMPACT Emergence 2023 show, the company announced that Will Ospreay will return to IMPACT at Bound For Glory on October 21 from Chicago’s Cicero Stadium.
This follows the IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2 event and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA appearing on the Emergence pay-per-view.
It remains to be seen if Ospreay will still be holding championship gold when he arrives for Bound For Glory. He will defend the IWGP UK Championship against Yota Tsuji at NJPW Destruction In Kobe on September 24.
