WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has named a WWE star he feels is ‘really underrated’, and believes could become a big draw for the company.
It’s no secret that WWE’s current roster is stacked, with talented athletes populating the Raw, SmackDown and NXT locker rooms.
Speaking on the Grue Rume Show, Angle named stars who he likes to watch wrestle, including AEW’s Kenny Omega, and WWE’s Ricochet.
Arguing that Ricochet has what it takes to become a WWE main event star, Angle said:
“I love the guys, wrestlers like Ricochet in WWE. I think he’s really underrated.
“I think a guy like that can be a huge main eventer for the company and draw a lot of money for them. The matches that he has are just incredible.
While Ricochet has had reigns with the Intercontinental, US and NXT North American titles, the One and Only has never won a WWE world title.
The high-flyer’s most recent match on WWE Raw took place on the August 7 show, with Ricochet losing a fourway to crown the #1 contender to the Intercontinental Champion.
Ricochet was actually the previous Intercontinental titleholder, with GUNTHER notably defeating him for the gold on the June 10, 2022 edition of SmackDown.
