WWE SmackDown is set to return to the USA Network starting in October 2024.
The deal to bring SmackDown back to the Network comes during the company’s ongoing media rights deals.
Per the Wall Street Journal, while the terms of WWE’s new deal with the network weren’t disclosed, those familiar valued the deal at roughly $1.4 billion.
This would be a 40% increase over the current deal WWE has in place FOX.
They wrote:
“Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. People familiar with the pact valued it at roughly $1.4 billion, which is about a 40% increase over the deal WWE had with Fox.”
It is not known where the new deal with USA for SmackDown would leave Raw and NXT currently airing on the network, though it was hinted that they could be set to leave the network at the end of their deal.
