The Rock made his surprise return to WWE on the September 15 episode of SmackDown in Denver, when he and Pat McAfee laid out Austin Theory.
Following Rock’s return, speculation online has emerged about him potentially wrestling at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia next year, potentially the long anticipated match against Roman Reigns.
Another WWE star that The Rock has had a back and forth with on social media is Grayson Waller, who has called out The Rock several times ahead of his return.
With WWE recently announcing that the Elimination Chamber event will be coming to Perth, Australia, speculation from fans has emerged about The Rock potentially showing up at the show, potentially to set up a match at WrestleMania.
Waller took to Twitter to address the rumours, where he warned The Rock to not show up in Perth, as he needs to be ‘healthy in April’.
He said:
Don’t be silly and try to come to Australia Dwayne, we want you to be healthy in April
