A new report has revealed another potential AEW WrestleDream match.
This Sunday, October 1, All Elite Wrestling will present their first WrestleDream event from Seattle, Washington. The event will honor the one year anniversary of the passing of wrestling icon and NJPW founder Antonio Inoki.
The show has an already stacked lineup of nine matches set, but it looks like one more match might be on its way to be added to this Sunday’s event.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the working plan for AEW WrestleDream was for Ricky Starks to take on Wheeler Yuta.
This would follow up from Starks’ rivalry with Bryan Danielson, which culminated on the September 23 episode of AEW Collision with Danielson beating Starks in a Texas Deathmatch.
It remains to be seen if this bout will be added to the lineup on this week’s AEW programming ahead of this Sunday’s pay-per-view.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on the AEW WrestleDream card when they become available.
