Butch wants a WWE star to be his second at NXT No Mercy.
On the September 26 edition of WWE NXT, Butch defeated Joe Coffey to win the NXT Global Heritage Invitational.
On his road through the tournament, the former Pete Dunne crossed paths with his former friend and rival Tyler Bate in the Group A Final, which saw Butch come out victorious.
The Brawling Brutes member will move on to face Noam Dar for the NXT Heritage Cup on September 30 at NXT No Mercy. As per the rules for the Heritage Cup matches, each competitor needs a second in their corner.
On September 27, Butch took to social media to ask his former rival and former NXT Heritage Cup Champion Tyler Bate to be in his corner for a mini-reunion of British Strong Style members for one night only. He wrote:
I need a second at No Mercy Saturday. @noamdar is gonna have all of meta-four out there so I’ve asked an old mate to watch my back. Someone who knows Noam and Heritage Cup rules pretty well.
BSS one night only
Probably
In the champion’s corner, Noam Dar will most likely have all the members of his Meta-Four stable, Oro Mensah, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.
