WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has now praised former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill, following her recently joining WWE.
After much speculation, Cargill was officially announced to have signed a multi-year deal with WWE on Tuesday, September 26.
WWE has presented Cargill as a talent to watch since the announcement, sharing photos of the former AEW star’s first day at the WWE Performance Center, as well as extra promotion of the signing on this past week’s edition of SmackDown (September 29).
With Cargill clearly receiving the star treatment from day one in WWE, it’s not difficult to see a bright future for her within the company, a sentiment shared by multi-time WWE Champion Kurt Angle.
Discussing Cargill’s signing on The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic gold medalist spoke in awe of Cargill’s physique and prospects in the company:
“I saw a video of her. She looks bigger than me.
“She’s jacked. Oh my god.
“That girl has an incredible future. WWE is going to love her.”
It’s still not yet known whether Cargill will debut on WWE’s main roster or first spend time in NXT beforehand, with NXT boss Shawn Michaels recently discussing the possibility of having the 31-year-old on Tuesday nights.
While we’re left waiting with bated breath for Cargill’s on-screen arrival in WWE, the former AEW star has herself has teased her impending debut, click here to check it out.
