Beth Phoenix has reacted to her husband Adam Copeland (Edge) making his AEW debut at the WrestleDream pay-per-view.
Copeland’s huge debut came at the end of the October 1 show, with the Rated-R Superstar interrupting Christian Cage following his TNT Title defence against Darby Allin.
While recent reports had led many fans to predict that Copeland would be in the Climate Pledge Arena, Beth Phoenix has now shared the note which the WWE Hall of Famer left at home to reveal his whereabouts.
Simply captioning the photo ‘Guys.’, Phoenix shared Copeland’s note to her on Twitter, which read:
B – heading to wAlk the dog, bE back in a feW – A.
It appears that Phoenix figured out her husband’s coded message, as she also shared an Instagram poster revealing that she and her kids were watching WrestleDream from home.
Phoenix captioned that post:
They stayed up late to see Dad. I stayed up late to see that magical sparkle in his eyes.
Following his AEW debut, Copeland shared a statement explaining his decision to leave WWE.
The WWE backstage reaction to the Rated-R Superstar’s departure ahead of his AEW debut has also been revealed, which you can read more about right here.
