After FTR lost the AEW Tag Team Championship on tonight’s episode of AEW Collision in fairly short order, fans started wondering.
Speculation flew into further overdrive with Dax Harwood tweeting:
“What a run. Love you all. Top Guys Out.”
Now in a new report from Fightful Select, an update on the status of Harwood and Cash Wheeler has emerged.
Despite the loss on tonight’s AEW Collision, according to the report FTR are signed to AEW “until roughly 2027”.
Furthermore, they were told that things were “fine” between AEW and FTR as of late.
There has been some speculation that Cash Wheeler was injured at last weekend’s AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view, which could explain their absence if they’re off TV for some time after their title loss, but we’ll keep you updated with any further clarification.
Harwood later tweeted:
Guys, I say ‘Top Guys Out’ all the time. We ain’t going nowhere. This is our home.
We’ll be sure to keep you up to date with any other developments if they should arise.
