A new report has revealed that multiple companies are interested in a pair of recently departed WWE stars.
On the September 12 episode of WWE NXT, a segment aired that featured The Schism’s Joe Gacy and Ava Raine talking about how the four roots have now become two.
This was later revealed to be the storyline explanation for The Dyad’s Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid, also known as The Grizzled Young Veterans being removed from television ahead of their contracts expiring in October.
The news was later confirmed by NXT color commentator Booker T, which you can read here.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that the Grizzled Young Veterans aren’t exactly free just yet. Their deals with WWE actually expire on October 14. The duo is expected to leave the promotion at that point.
Per PWInsider, there are multiple companies in both the United States and Europe who are interested in GYV.
Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid were also known as Zack Gibson and James Drake during their time in WWE and on the independent scene.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on the Grizzled Young Vets’ status when they become available.
