Three big title matches have been announced for this Saturday’s AEW Battle of the Belts VIII.
All Elite Wrestling will present their eighth quarterly Battle of the Belts event this coming Saturday, October 21. On the October 18 edition of AEW Dynamite, the company announced the lineup for the show.
The show will be headlined by The Acclaimed and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn will defend the AEW World Trios Championship against Daniel Garcia, “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard and “Cool Hand” Angelo Parker.
Also, Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW International Championship against the winner of a three-way match on the October 20 episode of AEW Rampage.
The three-way bout will be between John Silver, Brother Zay and Kip Sabian with the winner moving to be the first challenger for Cassidy’s second reign as champion.
Finally, Kris Statlander will defend the TBS Championship against Willow Nightingale for the first time.
This Saturday’s AEW Battle of the Belts VIII will follow the October 21 episode of AEW Collision, starting at 10 p.m. Eastern.
