An AEW star has returned for the first time in nearly two months after last appearing at AEW All In at London’s Wembley Stadium.
A new feud seemed to have started with an attack on Bryan Danielson after the opening match on tonight’s AEW Collision.
After the ‘dream match’ of Bryan Danielson defeating Andrade el Idolo (in only their second singles meeting ever) Danielson was in the ring when the arena lights went to black.
When the lights came back on, Malakai Black appeared and delivered a vicious kick to the face to Bryan Danielson, seemingly knocking him out cold.
When the lights turned off again, commentary noted that the Blackpool Combat Club seemed to have run out to support Danielson however when the lights came back on, Black was gone.
Malakai Black has been out of action in AEW since AEW All In where he and the other members of House of Black (Buddy Matthews and Brody King) lost the AEW Trios Championship to The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.
