Becky Lynch has broken her silence on the loss of the NXT Women’s Championship to Lyra Valkyria at NXT Halloween Havoc Night One.
In a clash of the past, present and future of Irish competitors, Lynch and Valkyria closed the show in a big way, with a result that had many stunned inside the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
While Lynch was among those with shocked expressions inside the PC, she would ultimately show respect to her fellow countrywoman, raising her hand and seemingly sharing words with the rising star.
Taking to Twitter after the result, Lynch would put Valkyria over even further, with The Man clearly feeling the title and the WWE’s women’s division is in good hands.
Lynch said:
The future is bright (Ireland flag emoji)
A keen observer of the match was WWE’s hottest new signee Jade Cargill, who had previously teased a confrontation with Becky Lynch on Raw recently, so perhaps a feud between the two could be a possibility in the near future.
