A Hall of Famer has described the differences between working for WWE and WCW.
Despite making a name for herself during WWE’s Ruthless Aggression Era, Torrie Wilson started her career working for WCW during the Monday Night Wars.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Wilson reflected on her tenure for both WWE and WCW. Noting that the one similarity that she felt was the nerves and fear that she had backstage, Torrie said:
“WCW, I was feeling like I was so fearful all the time. It was so new.”
“In WWE, it took a very long time for me to even feel comfortable backstage because if you’re not comfortable backstage, everything else feels scary, right?”
“It makes me wonder if I would’ve had “NXT” to go to for a few years, how much better of a performer I would’ve been,”
Torrie Wilson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019, and has competed in two Women’s Royal Rumble matches.
