Hikaru Shida’s next challenger for the AEW Women’s World Championship has been revealed.
On the October 10 Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite, Hikaru Shida defeated Saraya to become the first ever three-time AEW Women’s World Champion.
Since then, Shida has kept up a breakneck schedule of defenses and matches against the likes of Emi Sakura, Ruby Soho and Abadon.
On October 31, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Shida will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Willow Nightingale on this Wednesday’s November 1 edition of AEW Dynamite.
This will mark the first bout for the pair on AEW programming despite a previous encounter on the Jeri-Cruise.
The winner of this bout will move on to defend the title against “Timeless” Toni Storm on Saturday, November 18 at AEW Full Gear.
Tony Khan has also announced that he will be making an important announcement on this Wednesday’s episode, which you can read here.
