Shawn Michaels has taken to social media to extend an offer to a potential special guest with an invite to pop by WWE NXT.
Earlier Triple H extended an offer to a well known sports name to attend WrestleMania 40 but Shawn Michaels wonders, why wait? HBK can invite him to NXT ASAP!
While WrestleMania 40 is set to be held in Philadelphia, the star player on the NBA’s Philadelphia Sixers is the reigning NBA MVP, Joel Embiid.
On October 31, NBA analyst Shams Charania announced that the NBA had fined Embiid $35,000 for the D-Generation X/Triple H celebration he did vs. the Portland Trailblazers on October 29.
Responding to this news, Triple H took to social media to send an invitation to Joel Embiid to join WWE for WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
However not seeing any reason for the star to wait until WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels wrote:
“I can’t in good conscience condone this kind of behav….oh never mind!! 😂
“Show up at @WWENXT and I promise no fines… I know a guy.”
Shawn Michaels continues to helm WWE NXT after the brand had another successful outing for night two of Halloween Havoc.
Trick Williams returned at the end of the main event between Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes resulting in Dragunov retaining the title before immediately getting jumped by the next contender while Hayes and Williams had a staredown in the ring.
