A former WWE name says Shane McMahon was his favorite family member to work with.
The McMahon family has ran and worked for WWE for over the past six decades. Various stars throughout the years have been able to work with nearly every member of the family that has walked through the doors of the promotion.
Throughout his storied tenure with WWE, former referee Mike Chioda has plenty of experience with the McMahon family, inside and outside of the squared circle.
During the latest “Mailbag with Mike Chioda” podcast, Chioda revealed that Shane McMahon was his favorite McMahon family member to work with. Explaining how Shane requested he work his matches, Chioda said:
“We had some incredible times from that bump in Chicago that we did — just that bump right there was fantastic,”
“All the matches that he’s done with Test and Kurt Angle, it just goes on, AJ Styles. We just had incredible times, him and ‘Taker and stuff like that.”
Revealed how he and Vince McMahon have been through a lot over the years, Chioda stated:
“He drove the trucks with us, and he set up the ring. He busted his ass,”
“He sat in the middle of the truck for hours and sh*t like that, paid his dues for a complete year to learn everything from the bottom to the top of the business.”
“That’s what Vince wanted him to do, and that’s what he did.”
