A WWE star has issued a ‘spoiler alert’ regarding a major match coming up at a future WWE Premium Live Event.
For the second year running WWE are planning to have a pair of Iron Survivor Challenge matches at NXT Deadline Saturday, December 9.
The qualifying matches for these began on this week’s NXT (November 7), one between Dijak and Tyler Bate and another contested between former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Fallon Henley.
Stratton would be the first to qualify for NXT Deadline, and later in the night Dijak would be the first on the men’s side, putting Bate away with a Feast Your Eyes.
After the big win, Dijak took to Twitter, making it very clear that he was going to go all the way and win the Iron Survivor at NXT Deadline.
Dijak tweeted:
Hey spoiler alert I’m going to win the Iron Survivor Challenge then beat Ilja Dragunov and FINALLY win the NXT Championship.
While it remains to be seen whether Dijak’s ‘spoiler’ will in fact come to pass, many fans surely wouldn’t be mad if it did, given NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and Dijak’s previous run-in at NXT Battleground in May.
The Last Man Standing match was among the best WWE matches of the year in many fans books and one would imagine WWE likely wouldn’t have much problem in running it back, only this time for the biggest prize in NXT.
