A WWE star has shared his honest thoughts on his current run, arguing that NXT has a ‘distinct lack’ of him.
NXT’s Javier Bernal took to Twitter during Tuesday’s (November 14) edition of NXT to argue that he should be on our screens more.
Bernal wrote:
This show has a distinct lack of me lmao #WWENXT
While Bernal has been active on the NXT house show circuit, he hasn’t wrestled on an episode of NXT since losing to Von Wagner in under a minute on the July 25 show.
Bernal has competed on several episodes of NXT Level Up since then, most recently teaming with Luca Crusifino to defeat Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont in September.
During his NXT TV hiatus Bernal announced his engagement to fellow NXT star Tatum Paxley.
Bernal teased his main roster debut in October, hinting that SmackDown was also missing something. He’s actually already had a match on Raw, but it was a very quick loss in a tag match against Indus-Sher.
Bernal isn’t set to compete on next week’s edition of NXT, with matches for the November 21 episode taped on Tuesday.
Two title matches featuring main roster stars were taped, in addition to two Iron Survivor Challenge qualifier bouts.
Check out the results from that taping at this link (spoilers ahead).
