WWE SmackDown star Asuka appears to be interested in taking over the Damage CTRL faction as its new leader.
Damage CTRL has only gotten stronger in recent weeks, with Kairi Sane joining forces with IYO SKY, Bayley and Dakota Kai at Crown Jewel, ahead of Asuka siding with the group on the November 10 edition of SmackDown.
Asuka was officially inducted into Damage CTRL on this week’s (November 17) episode, with Bayley presenting the Empress with a Damage CTRL t-shirt.
The former WWE Women’s Champion doesn’t seem to be satisfied with her current position in the group, with Asuka taking to Twitter to reveal she wants more.
Sharing fan art of herself, Bayley, IYO SKY, Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane, Asuka wrote:
Am I not the center?
I think i should be in control of damage control.
Because I’m a living legend. right?
The group is currently in possession of the WWE Women’s Title, which IYO SKY currently holds and defends.
SKY won the gold after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Bianca Belair at SummerSlam, moments after Belair had won the title from Asuka.
Asuka, IYO SKY, Bayley and Kairi Sane will team up to battle Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi and Becky Lynch in a WarGames match at Survivor Series.
The women’s WarGames match looks to be four-on-four as Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai is still out injured.
