A popular AEW star has admitted that it hurts being left off the card for tonight’s (November 18) AEW Full Gear show.
Tonight’s show is set to take place in the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, California, and will feature many big matches featuring top AEW stars.
However, one popular AEW star not featured on the card is Daniel Garcia, who has been spotlighted in recent weeks in matches against the likes of MJF, Andrade El Idolo and Miro.
Speaking to The Messenger, Garcia admitted that he would be lying if it didn’t hurt that he has been left off AEW’s pay-per-view events.
He said:
“I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt not being on these pay-per-views. That’s what I aspire to be on. I want to be in the biggest matches. I want to be facing the biggest names in the biggest opportunities.
Garcia continued on, noting that everyone should want to be on the biggest shows, but he works hard and isn’t easily discouraged.
He added:
“I feel like if you don’t want to be on the pay-per-views, that’s weird. Like, why are you wrestling if you don’t want to be on the biggest shows?
“I’m not somebody who gets easily discouraged. I work very hard. When I see one thing isn’t working, I adapt, I change, I shift. I meld into different things.
“I’ve been ready for a long time, and I feel like that’s never changed. With every opportunity, with every week that passes, I just keep getting more ready.”
