A WWE Raw star has discussed CM Punk’s return to the company, believing it to be ‘great business’ and calling it ‘surreal’.
Punk made his return to WWE after nearly 10 years away at the end of the Survivor Series event in Chicago this past weekend.
Punk’s return was, of course, met with a wide array of emotions, with some welcoming him back, and others more hesitant to have him back in the locker room following his AEW departure.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Raw star Bronson Reed was asked about CM Punk’s return to the company, with him saying that it would have been ‘silly’ to not bring him in at Survivor Series.
He said:
“In my opinion, I think it’s good for WWE. It’s great business. I think you’d be silly not to bring him out. It was sort of surreal honestly to see him there last night and doing his promo in the ring. It’s just something I didn’t, even two months ago, I was like, ‘Ah, that’ll never happen.’ So [it was] very surreal.”
Bronson also left a big impact on last night’s show, with him and Ivar brawling around the arena following their clash.
