Top AEW star Adam Cole has recalled “the exact moment” he wanted to be a pro wrestler being Stone Cold Steve Austin’s iconic WrestleMania 17 entrance.
One of the more fascinating things about a pro wrestler is finding out when they realized that the business was their dream job or when they decided to start wrestling.
On December 16, Adam Cole took to social media to recall the exact moment that he wanted to be a pro wrestler. Reflecting on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s iconic WrestleMania 17 entrance, Cole wrote:
This exact moment was when I decided I wanted to be a Pro Wrestler…chills every single time. Nothing else in the world like Pro Wrestling. Thank you @steveaustinBSR
Cole has went on to have a very successful career spanning multiple promotions, including CZW, ROH, WWE and AEW.
The AEW star is a former three-time ROH World Champion, the longest reigning NXT Champion and the first-ever Men’s Owen Hart Cup winner.
Adam Cole is currently out of action with a serious ankle injury, which required surgery.
