AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has announced a 5-minute overrun for this Wednesday’s Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite.
This week’s AEW Dynamite will be the company’s Holiday Bash special and feature the final Gold League matches in the AEW Continental Classic.
Tony Khan has previously confirmed that All Elite Wrestling have a new partnership with Toys for Tots for this week’s shows to donate $1 million of toys to kids in need. Now, there is also another late addition or change to this Wednesday’s episode.
On December 19, Khan announced that this Wednesday’s December 20 Holiday Bash episode of AEW Dynamite will have a 5-minute overrun. He wrote:
Because of your amazing support
Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite will be presented on TBS with 5 minutes overrun TOMORROW!
It’s been a great week for AEW, last Wednesday Dynamite was the #1 show on cable + one of our best shows ever on #AEWCollision!
AEW fans, how are you feeling?
The December 13 Winter Is Coming edition of Dynamite also had a 5-minute overrun. This is a relatively good sign for AEW’s relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery amid media rights deal rumours regarding WWE.
WrestleTalk will provide any news and notes from this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite when they become available.
