NJPW has announced the full card for Wrestle Kingdom 18, which will emanate from the Tokyo Dome on January 4.
While normal people are counting down to the new year, wrestling fans are counting down to the first major NJPW show of 2024.
While the main event of the show will see SANADA defending his IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Tetsuya Naito, the headline match isn’t the only bout that has had fans talking.
A number of AEW stars will be in action, with Bryan Danielson set to face off against Kazuchika Okada in a Forbidden Door 2023 rematch.
The threeway to crown the inaugural IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion also has a lot of eyes on it, with Will Ospreay, David Finlay and AEW’s Jon Moxley set to face off for the new title.
This will be one of Ospreay’s final matches with New Japan ahead of him officially joining AEW.
