Ricochet has now commented on a backstage report about a recent change which his fiancée Samantha Irvin said was not her call.
On the December 18 edition of SmackDown, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven dropped their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.
Samantha Irvin notably didn’t introduce Green with her usual unique ring introduction, a change which Irvin later stated wasn’t her decision.
Fightful Select has since reported that the direction to scrap Chelsea Green’s special introduction came directly from a WWE higher-up.
Ricochet has now taken to Twitter to comment on this report.
Resharing a post recapping Fightful Select’s report, Ricochet wrote:
I believe everyone should just let things play out and stop making assumptions.
We all just want the best for everyone 🤘🏽
While it’s unclear which WWE higher-up called for the change, Fightful’s report indicated that some individuals have pushed for Green’s unique ring intro to return.
Ricochet has recently used Twitter to share a lot of his honest thoughts on his current run.
The high-flyer recently responded to criticisms about his promo skills, which you can read more about right here.
