The first two duos have been announced for the WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic to start on the January 9 episode.
On the New Year’s Evil edition of WWE NXT, Ava Raine announced that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be making its return starting on the January 9 episode.
Throughout the rest of the episode, various stars were discussing the possibility of aligning for the prestigious tournament.
On January 7, WWE announced that former NXT Champion Bron Breakker will officially team with Baron Corbin in the Dusty Classic. Meanwhile, former Heritage Cup Champion Nathan Frazer will team with Axiom in the tournament.
The announcement made on the WWE NXT Twitter/X account, reads:
