Zac Efron has discussed his love and admiration for the world of professional wrestling after “The Iron Claw” film.
“The Iron Claw” was released on theaters on December 22 to a litany of critical acclaim.
In the film, Zac Efron plays Kevin Von Erich, the lone Von Erich son alive after the tragedies that took his brothers’ lives.
The movie was directed by Sean Durkin and had Chavo Guerrero Jr. serve as the wrestling coordinator.
In a new Instagram post, Zac Efron reflected on working with Guerrero and learning about professional wrestling. He wrote:
I have so much admiration and respect for the world of Professional Wrestling and to the sacrifice and dedication of the athletes…
These guys tour for MONTHS putting their bodies on the line everyday to perform.
Was an honor to step into the ring and learn from one of the best @chavoguerrerojr
Current AEW star MJF has discussed the film’s decision to cut his scene from “The Iron Claw,” which you can read here.
