Emmy Award winner and “The Bear” star Jeremy Allen White has commented on potentially wrestling after starring in “The Iron Claw.”
At the 2024 Emmy Awards, Jeremy Allen White won the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
This follows White’s performance as Kerry Von Erich in “The Iron Claw” film. The movie tells the story of The Von Erich family with Zac Efron playing the role of Kevin Von Erich and Harris Dickinson as David Von Erich.
In a new interview with Deadline at the Emmy Awards, Jeremy Allen White was asked if he would actually get in the ring for a pro wrestling match. He answered:
“I don’t know. I would need so much warning if that’s something they would want me to do.”
“I’d be so excited to, but only if Zac and Harris were there with me and if I had time to prepare,”
Jeremy Allen White has also starred in Showtime’s Shameless series where he played the role of Lip Gallagher.
White’s co-star Zac Efron recently discussed his love and admiration for professional wrestling after starring in “The Iron Claw,” which you can read here.
