‘The Iron Claw’ Film Set To Be Available On AEW Potential Streaming Home? A24

Ahead of its theatrical release, “The Iron Claw” film is set to be available on AEW’s potential streaming home.

On December 22, “The Iron Claw” will be premiering in theaters around the world. The movie is centered around the professional wrestling careers, lives and tragic deaths in the Von Erich family.

Per Variety, Warner Bros. Discovery has signed a multi-year United States output deal with A24 bringing the entertainment company’s catalog of films exclusively to HBO, Max and Cinemax after their theatrical runs.

This deal includes the upcoming Von Erichs film following its theatrical run that begins on December 22. The film will be available on the Max streaming service, which has been rumoured to be the potential future streaming home for AEW.

The movie will star Zac Efron and Jeremy Allan White. AEW World Champion MJF also stars in the film and worked as an executive producer. It was announced earlier this year that A24’s deal with Paramount Global’s Showtime expired.

In the story written by Variety, Royce Battleman, EVP of content acquisitions for Warner Bros. Discovery, provided the following statement:

“Continuing our relationship with A24 to bring award-winning movies alongside recent fan-favorites to subscribers adds incredible value to the HBO and Max value proposition,”

“The diverse range of stories that come from the A24 pipeline make this partnership so impactful for our audience.”

WrestleTalk will provide further updates on “The Iron Claw” when they become available.
